…Penso che chi ritorna [a vivere] in paese sia un conquistatore… Personalmente sto benissimo in questo piccolo centro, amo la tranquillità, abitare qui non mi annoia… tutto è relativo, il divertimento, lo star bene… Un esempio: studiavo a Cagliari e per due anni, per quanto avessi trovato compagnia, stetti male. Credo sia importante non avere intorno a sé molte persone, o avere intorno a sé una grande città, ma avere attorno le persone giuste… In questo piccolo centro stai meglio forse per la qualità della vita. Ritornare non penso sia un fallimento, piuttosto una conquista per noi e per il futuro dei piccoli centri…

…I think people who come back [to live] in the village are conquerors… Personally, I’m fine living in this little place, I love the tranquillity, and l don’t find it boring living here... it’s all relative – pleasure, well-being… Here’s an example: I was a student in Cagliari and for two years, even though I had made some friends, I didn’t feel good. I don’t think it’s important to have a lot of people around you, or to have a big city around you, but to have the right people around you... In this little village you feel good perhaps because of the quality of life. I don’t think coming back means failure, but rather an achievement for us and for the future of little villages…
